HPI Real Estate and Investments is a leading full service real estate organization serving Austin, San Antonio, Dallas and the surrounding Central Texas areas. HPI is looking for a part-time intern that will help in all aspects of commercial real estate to include leasing, marketing, property management and maintenance. This internship is intended to provide a well-rounded view of commercial real estate property management. The 2018 Summer Intern program welcomes 5 interns to join the team from June 11 – July 26. The role is a part-time opportunity with a schedule of 6 hours a day (9am-3pm), four days a week Monday through Thursday.
I. Priority functions / Accountabilities

Provide on-going support with current projects

Complete case studies to review potential tenants
-
Take flyers and floor plans to upcoming vacancies and walk spaces
-
Conduct research
-
Provide general office support including kitchen duties; refill refrigerators, general clean up and assist with loading & unloading paper and supplies

Administrative: Complete shredding, scanning, renaming and organizing files on network

Special projects as assigned
II. Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Current college junior or senior, studying towards a Real Estate degree

Valid driver’s license

Physical ability to conduct general commercial property tours (driving, standing, walking, climbing)

Ability to lift/stock kitchen and office supplies

Prior experience working with Excel, MS Outlook

Strong verbal and written communication

Able to work independently

Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task

Strong analytical and problem solving skills
